Whenever we organise an event we make sure there are no other events within 2 hours or so travel from our venue. The calendar is very busy and gone are the days when you would be the only competition in the country on a given day. However we feel it’s best for all if we can be sensible and avoid events close to each other on the same day.
Unfortunately last night we found out the British Open is due to take place the same weekend as Roll Models 13. As one (if not the) largest events in the UK it doesn’t make sense for us to run alongside. We have a number of competitors already registered with us but if their coaches and higher belted team mates are at the British it makes little sense to cause drama and split teams up.
As a result of this clash we are moving Roll Models 13 a week later to Sunday 19th September. This event now clashes with the Euros kids event, as a result we will not be running kids divisions and will instead run No-Gi beginners and intermediates for adults and masters alongside our white and blue belt Gi Divisions. If you would like a combined Gi and No-Gi entry this will be priced at just £40 early entry, (or £26 single entry). Existing kids entries will be refunded and any competitors registered who can’t make the new date please contact us for a full refund on Facebook or via email.
